Description
SpeedStocks is a stock trading card game and Android app. Players take turns investing in Stock Cards by scanning QR codes. After 5 rounds, the richest player wins.
Reception
SpeedStocks received an 81 mark.
Development
This was a 3rd year university project developed in Kotlin with Android Studio. I developed the app using APIs marketstack and Google code scanner. The app aims to bring a complex financial field to a more casual demographic to build interest in the stock market. Features like physical cards and QR codes make the app easy to use for younger and inexperienced players.
